It is officially fall! As September, the month of Fashion, comes to an end, there are so many new trends to try out this season. Here are a few to look out for and incorporate into your wardrobe.
Some may call it “contemporary oatmeal.” Others may say it is “coffee-coloured chic.” Regardless of the name, beige has been all the rage recently. This neutral is clearly the colour of the autumn season. The iconic Burberry trench-coat was reimagined in 50 different shades of beige. It also made its way into other collections including Max Mara and Balmain. Whether it be a simple top, or a pair of shoes, this colour can easily amp up your fall outfit.
Over the past few seasons, hair accessories, and especially headbands, have made a comeback. In the 1990’s everyone was seen sporting a headband. This accessory made appearances at Dior and Miu Miu. Many celebrities, including Gigi Hadid, Beyoncé and Jay Z, are obsessed with this fashion detail. With designs ranging from studded satin to heavy jewels, headbands are diverse and can be worn with any outfit. Make sure you get yourself a headband ASAP.
In 1999, Chanel debuted their biker shorts with a logo chain belt and an oversized jacket. More recently, cycling shorts have been a prominent trend in street style. Now it is making a comeback back on the runway where Fendi, Roberto Cavalli and Prada showed slick athletic shorts. Kim Kardashian and the Kardashian clan have been extremely influential and are partially responsible for bringing this trend back. It is officially time to start an 80s workout and invest in a pair of biker shorts.
